Jaipur : Congress leader and social worker in Jaipur, Suresh Mishra, has sent a letter to the Election Commission of India demanding to stop the release of PM Modi's biopic movie  'The PM Modi'. The film is scheduled to take place in theaters all over India on April 5th.

Suresh Mishra said that releasing the movie 'The PM Modi' at the time of the Lok Sabha elections is a conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Because the Prime Minister is from the Ruling Party, so that BJP is trying to take advantage of the film. In the view of elections, the Code of Conduct is in place throughout the country and the BJP is violating the Model Code of Conduct by propagating through this film.

Demanding the release of the film, Suresh Mishra said that India is a democratic country. Our democracy is recognized all over the world. Whenever elections are held in India, the whole world looks at India. In this way, the Bharatiya Janata Party is making a mockery of India's democracy by violating the Code of Conduct by propagating through the film.

Moreover, Mishra said that Information and Broadcasting Minister, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod, who is contesting Lok Sabha elections from Jaipur rural seat on BJP ticket, he misinterpreted the effect of his position by certifying the film with the CBFC and releasing the film in the time of elections, he has tried to take advantage of the film.

Mishra has said in his letter that posters, banners, TVs and newspapers are being used everywhere to promote the film. In view of EC's rules, all these should be included in the election campaign expenses of candidates and the release of this film should be stopped immediately.
