Melbourne : The Indian Cricket Team has got a big Score against South Africa in 13th ODI of ICC World Cup 2015. In the match Shikhar Dhawan has struck a fluent century off 122 balls at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday.

The opening batsman of Indian cricket team Virat Kohli gets dismissed for 46 by South Africa’s Imran Tahir, but Shikhar Dhawan  manages to establish solid stronghold on the game here.

Shikhar Dhawan, determined not to let the momentum fizzle, slams hundred off 122 balls and puts India on course for big total and the total score of India is 214 run for 2 wicket after 39 over. Shikhar Dhawan hit a composed half-century and steadied the Indian innings with Virat Kohli after Rohit Sharma was run out for zero in the 3rd over against South Africa at the MCG.

Dhawan scored 137 off 145 balls hitting 16 boundaries and two maximums before he sent back to the pavilion in a Parnell delivery, which was high on the bat and looped up and down into the hands of Amla at long leg.

Opening India's batting after his side chose to bat, Dhawan was aggressive from the word go.He lost partner Rohit Sharma to a tragic run-out for a naught in the 3rd over of the match but the upset did not continue  as a steady start was soon replaced by a flurry of boundaries as South Africa's famed pace battery was dispatched.

Having Virat Kohli (46) for company further bolstered Dhawan's confidence. They put on 127 - much to the delight the India fans. While the Indian vice-captain played a reserved innings from one end, Dhawan managed to complete his 13th ODI fifty from 70 balls.

Some 80,000 fans at the Melbourne Cricket Ground are in for a treat in the day-night match that will almost certainly assure the winner a place in the quarter-finals from Pool B. Both teams won their opening games, defending champions India thrashing Pakistan by 76 runs in Adelaide last Sunday and South Africa beating Zimbabwe by 62 runs in Hamilton earlier the same day.

Team India is under control against Suth Africa in the World Cup Cricket. When reports last came in, India is in a strong position with 235 runs for the loss of two wickets in 40.4 overs.

The batting of Shikhar Dhawan, who hit a century and Virat Kholi’s 46, helped the team a lot. Dhawan took 103 runs after hitting 13 fours in 122 balls.
