Daikin India launched second factory and begins its operations in Neemrana

Jaipur : Daikin Air-conditioning India, which is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., Japan, has started production with the launch of its second plant located at the existing manufacturing facility at Neemrana in Rajasthan. Daikin launched second plant here with an annual capacity of six lakh units taking the total volume to 1.2 million units.

Daikin's 40-acre Neemrana facility in which the company has invested around Rs 2,000 crore so far has become India's biggest HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) manufacturing facility. It has the capacity to manufacture 15 lakh room ACs, 50,000 VRV units, 1 lakh cassette units, 20,000 ductable units and 1,000 chillers.

We will incorporate Daikin’s latest environment friendly air-conditioning technologies and ensure benchmark delivery standards by developing a pool of highly trained staff at this new facility," he added.

Toshio Nakano, Chairman, Daikin Airconditioning India, added “By setting up the 2nd facility in India, we aim at reducing the supply lead-time and become more competitive in meeting market needs in terms of product availability and specifications.
